A vacant lot at Blake Ave in Sault Ste Marie has been sold… for a dollar. Designated for a future build by Habitat for Humanity, it was one of two properties sold by the city. Also sold by the city for the same price is a rear lot at 148 Dacey Rd. That’s headed to the Sault Ste. Marie Social Services Administration Board for accessible housing. The two properties were listed for tax sale in October 2019 but attracted no bids.
