Drivers are being asked to drive with care

North Bay and area drivers are asked to pack a little extra time as they’re out and about this evening into tomorrow. Environment Canada says Snow squalls are in the forcast, visibilities will be significantly reduced due to the heavy snow combined with blowing snow, and snow will quickly accumulate 10 to 15 cm by tomorrow.
A similar weather forecast is being handed to Sault Ste Marie and area residents. It does include St. Joes’ island. Snow squalls are expected with blowing snow. Local snowfall accumulations of 15 to 30 cm are expected.
