Ontario is logging fewer than 900 new cases of COVID-19 today, the lowest daily infection count since October of last year. Health officials confirmed 847 new cases today. A number not seen since October of last year.

Among the numbers… four new cases, one new death.
The North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit is reporting two new COVID-19 cases today, including one death. The two cases are outbreak related and correspond with an increase in the number of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 as a result of the ongoing outbreak at Skyline Lancelot Apartments on Lakeshore Drive.
The death involved a 75-year-old also in the Nipissing Region. Retired OPP officer Doug Arthur marks the first victim from Nipissing and the second in the region. Arthur, had a recognized career of more than 30 years, in Powassan, Kapuskasing and White River, before ending his career in North Bay and Powassan.
