Multiple drivers stopped for speeding

A 32-year-old Calgary resident has been charged by North Bay OPP with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and flight from police. He was spotted on Highway 17 in Calvin Township going a “high” rate of speed. Roughly 30 minutes later the driver then left the road on Highway 11 in Powassan. The driver suffered minor injuries. He will be in court next month.
Meanwhile,
Sault Ste. Marie police say three have been charged for stunt driving. This is after two people were stopped on Black Road after registering radar readings of 159 km/h in a 60 km/h zone. They also stopped a driver on Peoples Road for driving 117km/h in a 50km zone.
