Canadore College getting Indigenous STEAM program grant

Indigenous students and educators in remote communities are getting a boost when it comes to learning. Canadore College, says a specialized STEAM program (For Kikandaaswiwin Mookisin STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) has received a grant of over $157k ($157,800). The funds are from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) Promoscience program.
Details: It will support the Kikandaaswiwin Mookisin STEAM Library and Wiidokwananig waasa wenjibawad Mentorship Program.
