Landfill fire declared out near Goulais River

A large fire at a landfill fire is out. It was in the Goulais River area this week. Once the call came in, it took fire personnel 10 hours to get the blaze under control. Roughly 25 personnel from surrounding and volunteer departments lent a hand. The cause of the blaze is undetermined but the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry is now investigating.
