A petition calls for the ban on the balloon release

A petition has started, calling for a ban on the release of balloons and sky lanterns. Environmentally driven, it’s being lead by a Chelmsford, resident. The concern is environmental sustainability and reducing plastics. Several municipalities, including at least one US state, has a ban in place.
