Greater Sudbury Fire Service is on the scene of a severe house fire. It’s on Velma Street in Val Caron. Latest reports indicate it is being contained to one area of the house; however, flames have spread throughout the roof. There are no injuries at this time. The occupants of the home are not present, he said, and a search was conducted to determine if there was anyone else in the home. Six stations are on the scene.
