PHSD announces outbreak, COVID-19 warning

Public Health Sudbury & Districts says the COVID-19 outbreak status at HSN remains in effect. It’s on the fourth floor of the north tower of HSN’s Ramsey Lake Health Centre. The Ministry of Health defines a COVID-19 outbreak in a public hospital as two or more laboratory-confirmed COVID-19 cases involving patients or staff within a specified area within a 14-day period where both cases could have reasonably acquired their infection in the hospital.
Meanwhile,
Public health Sudbury and Districts is warning of a potential COVID risk. It’s for anyone who attended an establishment in the area of 90 Durham St in Greater Sudbury. It’s for the evening of Oct. 23 into the morning of the 24th. The health unit is is “informing the public in hopes of identifying currently undetected cases who may have attended during this time period.”
