One new case of COVID-19 reported at Chippewa

The Near North School Board says one case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the Chippewa Secondary School Community. Sources say that the positive case has been identified as a member of the Chippewa boy’s hockey team. The health unit has dismissed the affected class and school sports team. At this time, the school will remain open to in-person learning and the health unit has not declared an outbreak.
