Weather warnings in place – Environment Canada

Those in the Sault Ste Marie area… are reminded to pack some extra patience out and about today, and drive with care. Lake effect snow off Lake Superior is creating snow squalls from St. Joseph Island to Montreal River Harbour, Environment Canada said, with a travel advisory to the east. Snow squall warnings were issued Sunday night stating 20 – 40 centimetres of snow is possible by tonight.
Sudbury and North Bay both have extreme cold weather alerts.
