Nov. 13th is the deadline for Sudburians to take part in the 100 Radon Test Kit Challenge. It is with the Sudbury Public Library. Residents can register online to receive one of 100 free radon test kits to test at home.

Cambrian College in Sudbury has introduced wildfire training as demand for forest firefighters grows. The hope is that graduates will have the training to fight fires in any environment.

Sudbury Fire Services were called to Herbert Street this morning in response to a residential blaze. Not believed to be suspicious, three are receiving treatment. The call came in at 8am. There is no word as to the cause.
