Stats Canada say Sudbury added a number of new jobs to wrap up 2025, sort of… All up there were 1,000 more full-time jobs last month compared to December, while 200 part-time positions were lost. The unemployment rate rose a tenth of a point as more were also looking for work compared to November.

Armstrong Township has given it’s support to a regional transit system. It would join several other communities including Colbalt who joined not too long ago in requesting a system. Should it run, it would connect points between various communities in the Temiskaming area for residents.
