Police respond to “Canada’s Most Dangerous Places” rating

According to MacLean’s Magazine, Timmins is the third most dangerous city in Ontario.  This year’s “Canada’s Most Dangerous Places” chart ranks Timmins just below Temiskaming Shores and Brantford. This is among the 229 cities ranked in the country.  Kate Catin from city Police says the numbers need the correct context.

Cities are ranked by a Crime Severity Index and Violent Crime Severity Index.
