41 active fires continue to burn in the North East – Emergency Services

To the forest fire situation in the North, thirteen of the 41 active forest fires in the region are not under control yet. That’s according to Aviation, Forest Fire and Emergency Services who say five new blazes started in the northeast region yesterday. Four of the new fires are in the Sudbury sector. Roughly 627 firefighters and support staff in the province have been aided with personnel Canada, the United States and Mexico.
