Overdose week sheds light on emergency

The numbers are stark, published in concert with the first ever Overdose Community Awareness Day in Greater Sudbury. Numbers from the coroner’s office show 30 drug overdose deaths in Greater Sudbury in the first nine months of 2017 alone. Sudbury Mayor Brian Bigger declared this Overdose Awareness Week and says more is coming when it comes to transitional housing for people working through rehabilitation programs.
