Space agencies remain in Timmins Airspace

Canadian and French Space Agencies in Timmins say it’s now unclear when or if they will pulling down a stratosphere balloon program. This is after both agencies signed a letter of intent with the City of Timmins to stay set up at the Victor M. Power Airport past the originally contracted 2024 end date, but now they say that more time is needed to measure different chemical particles in the stratosphere that would not be present either further south or north.
