Police hand out 30 tickets on the first day of school

It’s a disheartening number to say the least… and it’s hopefully a wake up call to drivers. Greater Sudbury Police Services say that on the first day of school this week, 30 tickets. were handed out to drivers. A number of them included speeding tickets including one where a driver was pegged going 42kph over the limit. Police say they will continue to look as kids head out to and from school, and drivers should consider themselves warned.
