Funding for Timmins Program Cut

A popular social program in Timmins that aimed to boost children’s health is shutting down. The Timmins-Misiway Healthy Kids Community Challenge will wrap up operations at the end of this month due to a cut in funding. Timmins was one of 45 communities across the province that took part in the program. Currently, no other funding is available for any of the communities across the province.
