This Sunday marks the 100th year since the end of the 1st world war. Called the GREAT WAR and THE WAR TO END ALL WARS. It began in 1914 and ended with an armistice at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month in 1918. A number of Remembrance Day ceremonies have been planned across the North, the list of which can be found below.
