Sudbury workers vote 95% in favor of strike action

Greater Sudbury city workers represented by CUPE Local 4705 have voted in favour of strike action. Employees classified as “inside” and “outside” workers are now prepared to go on strike if an agreement can’t be reached with the city, regarding a mandated contract.  By the numbers, 95% of workers are in favour of strike action. The last contract expired in April.
