Transit program extended for two-more years

A one-year pilot program to test a Sunday evening ‘on-demand’ transit service is being extended for another two years in Sault Ste Marie. City council approved the extension at its virtual meeting last week. The on-demand Sunday service, launched last September, included a mobile platform application where riders would request a pickup and drop off location.
