Driver facing careless driving charges after explosive crash

A lone driver is facing careless driving charges after ditching a vehicle off Highway 17 in Sables-Spanish Rivers Township. OPP say as a result of the crash, the vehicle caught fire. Highway 17 was closed for a short time to allow firefighters to extinguish the blaze. There were no injuries.
