City of Greater Sudbury coming in under budget for Snow removal

The city of Greater Sudbury’s snow plowing, sanding and salting could come in under budget for 2020. A report headed to the city’s operations committee this week indicates that as of the end of November 2020, there is an estimated surplus of $117,000.The actual surplus/deficit will be presented as part of the 2020 operating budget variance report that will be presented in the second quarter of 2021.
