The North Bay Parry Sound Health unit has announced eight new cases of COVID-19. All in the Parry Sound district.
The Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) is reporting thirteen new COVID-19 cases among residents in the health unit area. Ten cases are from the Timmins area and three are from the area of Cochrane, Matheson, Iroquois Falls, Smooth Rock Falls. Six cases are contacts of a case, six are under investigation and one is related to an institutional outbreak.
Five workers at a Sault Ste Marie business have tested positive for COVID-19. Located on Wallace Terrace, two of the cases identified over the past two weeks are workplace transmissions. Close contacts have been contacted by Algoma Public Health and are also isolating.
