A new case of COVID-19 has been reported at a Greater Sudbury school It’s at Westmount Avenue Public School. A letter issued by the Rainbow District School Board says the school remains open for in-person learning. Students in the affected Grade 1 class at Westmount have been asked to self-isolate. The Rainbow board also announced Sunday that some students on shared bus runs have been exposed to COVID-19 and are also asked to self-isolate.

Rainbow District School Board says one new case of COVID-19 has been detected in the preschool room at a child care centre. It’s at C.R. Judd Public School in Capreol. The school board said there has been no public health direction related to the school itself as a result of the COVID-19 case in the child care center.
