Mining company pledge net-zero greenhouse emissions by 2050

A group that represents many of the mining companies, like Vale and Glencore, are making a pledge to their mining operations would reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. The goal? 2050. While a specific schedule has not been released, the International Council on Mining and Metals sent out a news release this week. The council represents 28 mining companies and has mining operations around the world.
