Bench set up to honour 50-years-old Finnish language, culture

A ½ century of language teaching was unveiled this past weekend in Greater Sudbury. It took at Finlandia Village the form of a blue bench at the school itself. A school was established in 1971 to ensure the Finnish tongue would live on in the Sudbury area, along with other aspects of the culture that were already being maintained.
