The Elliot Lake Arts Club is getting a boost for the youth art program. In an effort to make artistic experiences more accessible for local youth, the Silver Birch Centre has offered some support for the upcoming March Break program in a little over a month.
The work to close the gap on homelessness continues. Speaking at a recent meeting of DTSSAB housing services manager Steve Cox said the number of homeless people in the district averages at between 25 to 30 people, and there is no room for complacency.
