Through funding provided by the Ministry of the Solicitor General, the city is setting up CCTV cameras in the downtown core. The goal of this project is to provide a safer environment by assisting police with the ability to obtain evidence during investigations.
PUC Services have not indicated the cause of a power has been restored in the Pointe des Chênes area yesterday. PUC Services says 264 customers were affected in parts of Airport Road and Des Chenes Drive. They confirm the airport was not affected.
