A 52-year-old sledder was taken to Hospital this weekend, following a sledding crash in the North. While reports say he was on a marked snowmobile trail, at one point, the male rider left the trail and struck a rock. He remains in care.
Elsewhere, a 35-year-old North Bay man is dead after a fatal collision between a motor vehicle and a pedestrian. The incident occurred just before the weekend on Birches Road. The male, who has not been named succumbed to his injuries. The investigation continues.

Taschereau says the accident is still under investigation.
