Sault Ste. Marie Police and Fire crews attend a residential fire in the west-end of the city. It happened in the 300 block of Albert Street West. The fire originated on the third floor of the multi-level dwelling. Crews were able to contain and extinguish the fire which turned out to be electrical in nature.
The Red Cross was on scene to assist those who were displaced. There were no injuries to report. There is moderate fire damage to the third-floor area of the dwelling.
