Manitoulin OPP is looking for witnesses or information following a fatal hit and run. It happed June 12th just before 1am. What started as a response to a report of a pedestrian walking on the roadway on Highway 6 north of the bridge in Espanola, ended with officers locating the individual deceased in the south lane. The OPP’s North East Region Traffic Management Enforcement (TIME) Team, including a Technical Collision Investigator (TCI) and a Reconstructionist, are assisting with this investigation.
