The Provincial Liberals say they have delivered their first balanced budget in a decade. It happened yesterday and includes a new program that will offer free prescription drug coverage to anyone under 25, regardless of family income. A new tax credit for seniors to help them get around on public transit, and an increase in tobacco taxes. MPP for Nippising Vic Fedeli says the liberals have only balanced their budget, through things like over a $1 billion from the sale of Hydro One and government properties, taking $500 million in pension assets.
