The Ontario government has pledged $1.136 million for repairs and upgrades to Health Sciences North this year. This is part of an overall boost, from which critical improvements will be made to the facilities, including work to windows, heating and air conditioning systems.
Meanwhile nearly $700,000 is headed to North Bay with just over $217,000 of that headed to the North Bay Regional Health Centre while nearly ½ million is headed to the West Nipissing General Hospital.
