Falling ice closes bridge

Falling ice closed the Mackinac Bridge, just south of Sault Ste. Marie this past weekend. The Bridge Authority says that Saturday and Sunday both saw closures. They all said steeplejacks were able to scale the main cables and knock some loose ice off, enough to reopen the bridge.
