Election recount called for Cochrane

Another election recount could be coming to the North. Cochrane Mayoral Candidate Peter Politis will seek a court order to have a recount of the votes cast in the mayoral race from last week’s municipal election recounted. The municipal election saw Politis finish five votes behind the winning candidate, Denis Clement, who presently sits as a member of council.
