LU Alumni celebrate “National Volunteer Week”

It’s National Volunteer Week. And the Laurentian University Alumni Association is marking the week with a notable milestone. They’re halfway to One Million Hours of Volunteerism. Launched in November 2016, the initiative aims to strengthen the relationship between alumni and the University for the benefit of the students and the community.
Laurentian alumni, students, staff, faculty and friends can take part in a number of ways
Hours can be logged through volunteering in the community, helping to raise funds for charitable organizations, taking part in charitable events or becoming a board member, a coach, or a Big Brother/Sister.
