Fire destroys milking barn

Thankfully there were no injuries at an early morning barn fire yesterday. It unfortunately however destroyed a milking barn at Norland Farms located east of the Sault in Laird Township. Friends and neighbours have offered to relocate the cows to St. Joseph Island for milking for the time being. No details on what caused the fire, nor the cost of damage.
