Bridget lights out due to maintenance

The drive across the international bridge isn’t as bright as usual, as many have reported the lights being out. The city says it’s all due to regular spring maintenance that needs to be completed. A number of Saultites have reported on social media that the Canadian side of the bridge hasn’t been lit in recent weeks. Spring maintenance includes electrician walking the arches to check each light, fixture and expansion connection. As a precaution, the arch lights have been turned off until the work is safely completed.
