The Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks have confirmed blue-green algae in Greater Sudbury. In Ramsey Lake, samples taken just before the weekend have been confirmed and the appropriate signage has been posted. The samples contained a species of cyanobacteria that can produce toxins, Public Health Sudbury and Districts said in a news release Friday. The ministry tested samples taken from Ramsey on July 25.
