Long term financial plan in place for city – CAO

Timmins City council says a long-term financial plan is now in place for the city. This is following a report from the city’s CAO. The report states a long-term financial plan would establish a series of principles that would guide the city’s finances over the next decade, as well as finding funding and predicting operational and capital requirements.
Dave Landers says he has applied for 100 per cent funding from the province on the plan but did not say when it would be implemented.
