Where do I need to wear a mask? We asked an expert

Today, Thursday, July 23rd marks the first day that facemasks will be mandatory for all public spaces under the jurisdiction of the Porcupine health unit.  Tomorrow, it will be the same for those in the North Bay Parry Sound District. The health units for the Greater Sudbury and Sault Ste Mare areas already have policies in place.
We spoke to Burgess Hawkins, the Manage of the Health Protection Division / Division de la protection de la santé for Public Heath Sudbury and districts.   Our conversation is below:

On their website, the health unit says the following:
Wearing a non-medical mask or face covering (for example, a homemade cloth mask) protects others when physical distancing is challenging or not possible – even if you have no symptoms of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus). It protects other people from your germs. Learn more about the guidance for wearing non-medical masks.
A mask or face covering is required to be worn in all enclosed public spaces and on public transit in Sudbury and districts to prevent the spread of COVID-19. All owners and operators of a business or organization with an enclosed public space, as well as public transit vehicles, must have policies in place to stop people from entering if they are not wearing a face covering.
