Greater Sudbury firefighters and paramedics have new surveillance cameras along with LED lighting around the outside of facilities in the name of community safety.

Several bus routes are being added and expanded in North Bay, they include Monday to Friday routes from 6:50 p.m. to 10:50 p.m. along Algonquin, Cassells Street, Trout Lake Road, Fisher Street, and Seymour.

Sault Ste. Marie councilors will be asked next week to gradually increase pay for 32 part-time and student city employees above minimum wage.
