Kids at play – Bring on the imagination

Experts say that simple things like tires, planks and pylons will do the trick when it comes to keeping children entertained.  This year’s Canadian Association of Family Resource Programs conference is having a look at new research in the science and philosophy of children’s play. They say that while state-of-the-art-equipment is nice, it’s simply not necessary to get children playing. They say that “back to basics” equipment is a good way of getting kids’ brains going, and promoting co-operation.
