Suspicious death under investigation

A West Nipissing man is in custody following the death of a 39-year-old woman. Police were called to an apartment on William Street shortly after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday. Police came upon a male in the apartment and an injured woman who was transported to West Nipissing General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The death is listed as suspicious and the investigation is continuing.
