Opposition building against land rezoning

City hall in Greater Sudbury tonight will be the focus for many, including a number of religious leaders in the city who say they’re joined a legal appeal planned by other anti-casino opponents to try to block rezoning of land on The Kingsway to permit the gambling establishment. Sudbury city council is slated to meet tonight. They will decide on a pair of rezoning applications that, upon approval, would pave the way for the development of the Kingsway entertainment district.
