The city will borrow over $200 million for Capital Projects

The City of Greater Sudbury says that when the legal battles are over, they will borrow over $205 mil for capital projects for the city. The money will be used to build a new arena, as well as the other big projects after the finance committee approved the financial move. At just over 2.6 per cent, the city would pay just $30,000 a year in interest for each $100 million they borrow.
