Sudbury city council taking on gas prices

As many are out and about this summer, some on Sudbury city council is taking issue with gas prices. A motion to that end was brought to this week’s council meeting, asking city staff to look into the matter. The price of gas seems to be an issue elsewhere in Northern Ontario as some on North Bay have made similar requests in the past.
Council voted to approve the motion. A report on gas prices will come back to the city’s Finance and Administration Committee in November.
