Wearing a seat belt, paying attention behind the wheel, and refusing to drive impaired were also key messages.
Tearing off doors and breaking through the windows of an old taxi cab, firefighters gave the public a glimpse of what tools may be used during a vehicle entrapment. Callander Fire Chief Todd Daley said the demonstration was meant to remind the public about the importance of wearing a seatbelt, paying attention behind the wheel, and to never drink and drive.
